This Is Church

The Gospel of Mark

Join us in this new sermon series as we walk through the Gospel of Mark. Our aim is to go verse-by-verse to receive the account of Jesus from Mark.

Join us in this sermon series as we look to the plight of this minor prophet, Habakkuk, and how he was eventually led to the Sovereignty of God and was able to see how in the end God will work all things according to our good.

Philippians: Partners in the Good News

This new series will be a verse-by-verse study in the book of Philippians. Paul is writing this letter to the church in Philippi as he is in prison, and shares with them how he is delighted with their efforts in the Gospel, and how they can truly find joy in Christ.

The book of Ecclesiastes is an Old Testament book that offers a contemporary question: what is the purpose of life? In the opening lines, 'the Teacher', says, 'What does man gain by all the toil at which he toils under the sun?' It is this question that has led to countless pursuits of happiness, meaning, and purpose. As we walk through this book, we will discover the biblical principles that help shape the Christian today.

Many have called this book pessimistic, but as we will see, it shapes the Good News of the Gospel and the resurrection of Christ!

Romans: I Am Not Ashamed of the Gospel!

In this series we will look at Paul's defense of the gospel as he writes to Jewish & Gentile Christians who makeup the house churches throughout Rome. This is one of the most important letters Paul wrote to the 1st Century church and has impacted many church fathers in their spiritual development.

Join us each week as we go verse by verse through the book of Romans!

Who's Your One?

Imagine if every believer could answer that question with the name of a person who is far from God—a person for whom they’re praying and with whom seeking to share the gospel. That’s the intention behind Who’s Your One. We believe God’s people don’t merely need another method for evangelism— what they need is a white-hot passion to see people who are far from God experience the new life He offers through Jesus Christ.

Over the coming days, our church and countless others will prioritize personal ownership of the Great Commission as we each intentionally pursue one person with the hope of the gospel. At times, it seems the mission is simply too complex and too vast for churches like ours and people like us. While we can’t do everything, we can do something. We can all take responsibility for one. And, because of God’s power and the work of His Spirit, each of our ones can add up to make a significant impact for God’s kingdom.

In this series we will look at the life of the prophet Jonah and how he interacted with God's plan for his life. We will cover Jonah's repentance & disobedience, and also the overwhelming compassion of God.
